PebbleForm - parametric panel design
March 2025
In collaboration with Ghadir Madani
This design concept draws inspiration from the organic forms of pebbles, translating their smooth, natural curves into a parametrically generated wooden wall. As both a focal point and a sensory element, it introduces warmth and tactility to a space. Crafted with CNC-milled precision, its undulating geometry interacts dynamically with light and shadow throughout the day.
Replicating natural textures through parametric design enhances both aesthetics and functionality. Organic patterns, shaped by natural forces, are inherently efficient and visually harmonious. By computationally reinterpreting these forms, the project explores how digital fabrication can integrate nature's logic into built environments, optimizing material use while fostering a more immersive and biophilic interior experience.
